From personal bests and breakthrough performances to finals appearances and podium finishes, our athletes showcased the depth, talent and determination that exists across SMNE.

The highlight of the week was seeing nine athletes earn the opportunity to represent Australia on the international stage, a reward for years of dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence. We also congratulate our three selected coaches, whose leadership and expertise continue to inspire the next generation of swimmers.

To every athlete, coach, club official, volunteer and family member who contributed to this campaign—thank you.

Success at this level is truly a team effort.

As the Australian Swimming Trials get underway from 8–13 June, we would like to wish all 96 athletes from our 12 SMNE clubs the very best of luck.

This is the culmination of countless early mornings, hard training sessions, sacrifices, determination and commitment. Simply earning the opportunity to compete at this level is an incredible achievement and a testament to the dedication of every swimmer, coach, volunteer and family member who has supported the journey.

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, a final, or a place on the Australian team, we are immensely proud of everything you have already accomplished.
