After six incredible days of racing, the Australian Swimming Trials have come to a close, and what a campaign it was for SMNE!

From personal bests and breakthrough performances to finals appearances and podium finishes, our athletes showcased the depth, talent and determination that exists across SMNE.
The highlight of the week was seeing nine athletes earn the opportunity to represent Australia on the international stage, a reward for years of dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence. We also congratulate our three selected coaches, whose leadership and expertise continue to inspire the next generation of swimmers.
To every athlete, coach, club official, volunteer and family member who contributed to this campaignโthank you.

From 11:00am tomorrow, 96 athletes from 12 Metro North East clubs will begin their Australian Swimming Trials campaign at SOPAC, taking on the nationโs best in pursuit of personal bests, finals, and Australian team selection.
Every athlete has earned their place through countless hours of training, dedication, resilience and determination. To stand on the blocks at Australian Trials is an achievement in itself, and our entire SMNE community couldnโt be prouder.
As they begin their journey tomorrow, we wish every swimmer the very best of luck.
