Wrapping up the 2023 Singapore SC Nationals.
Team SMNE has walked away with an impressive haul of 32 medals
🥇14 Gold
🥈12 Silver
🥉6 Bronze
SMNE development Coordinator and team member Luke Bibby said “this trip has successfully provided our older athletes the race opportunity they needed to help them realise their potential, racing overseas can be the little boost that helps you break into the Aus team as it is extremely competitive in Aus.
Each athlete has exceeded expectations for this week with everyone lifting for the team relays, individual events ,supporting our finalists and the team in general.
We will definitely look to support more opportunities in the future”
The team would like to express its thanks to former SMNE coaches @bobby_hurley & John Woodford @aquatic.courses for their support over in Singapore, always nice to see some friendly faces.
The team would also like to thank the SMNE board for their support of the trip and to Nick Dobson and Justin Rothwell for their help behind the scenes.
And a big thank you to @singapore_aquatics for hosting us- we look forward to returning!
