MEET INFORMATION

NO PARENTS PERMITTED ON POOL DECK (this includes marshalling area, warm up area, coaching area and athlete bathrooms).  For clarification, parents must remain in the spectator stands only.  Parents found on pool deck risk having their swimmer/s scratched.  If your swimmers need your help they will need to go upstairs to you, you must not go downstairs.

All events are timed finals and self marshalling will be used at this meet.  All swimmers must know their Event #, Heat #, Lane # (published on Fri 3rd Feb).

Advancing to the Speedo Sprint Finals

The top 4 swimmers in each 50m event may advance to represent SMNE at the NSW Speedo Sprint Finals on Saturday 4th March, unless the swimmer is ineligible (see below for conditions).

Swimmers are ineligible to compete at the Finals on 4th March if:

• – they have any National qualifying time in any event by 4th Feb 2023 (excl MC & Open Water)
• – they medalled at the recent NSW Senior State Age Championships (ineligible in that stroke, regardless of length)
• – they do not hold a current Full Swimmer membership to an SMNE Club

Conditions of Entry

There are 3 methods of entry.  Online Entries via Swim Central will be via 2 Swim Central portals depending on your membership type.

1. 1. Club-only members will be permitted to enter 50m events via this link.
2. 2. Full swimmers will be permitted to enter any events via this link.
3. 3. Recreational and swimmers who have not yet joined an SMNE Club (but may do so in the future) must email their entry request to meetdirector@smne.org.au stating the following information:

Swimmer’s Name:
Date of birth:
Where they train (Club):
Coach’s Name (if known):

For swimmers who already have a swimmer membership, this meet is open to all 8-13 year old members of Primary SMNE Area Clubs only.   Any swimmer found to be a Primary member of another Area will be scratched without refunds.

No late entries accepted under any circumstance, no exceptions. Emails requesting a late entry will not be responded to.
