That’s a wrap on the Speedo Sprint Series for 2023. On Saturday 4th March we had 97 swimmers represent SMNE in 184 events at Speedo Sprint Finals. Of those, 78 swimmers did at least one PB in their swims, a massive effort considering it’s only been a month since the heats! Congratulations to those swimmers who earned their first National qualifying times!
It was a fun filled day with wonderful team spirit lead by a number of coaches in the MNE Area – how fortunate we are to have an amazing group of coaches, always there for the kids!

Overall, SMNE came in 4th position behind some tough competition from the other Sydney Areas. Congratulations to Metsea for taking out the win closely followed by Met South West and Met North West.
