Swim Central Help
What is Swim Central?
Swim Central is an online platform used by Swimming Australia to manage everything related to swimming participation in Australia. Swim Central was launched in 2020 as a new national system to replace older state-based registration and results platforms, bringing everything into one unified system across Australia.
It’s essentially a one-stop system for swimmers, parents, and clubs to handle:
- Membership registrations and renewals
- Entering swim meets and competitions
- Tracking results, times, and rankings
- Managing club information and swimmer profiles
For families, it’s the main place where you sign your swimmer up with a club and nominate them for races. For clubs and officials, it helps organise meets and keep records accurate and up to date.
In short, if you’re involved in club swimming in Australia, Swim Central is the hub where everything is managed.
Need Swim Central help?
In the SMNE Area, we’re fortunate to have a team of highly experienced individuals who played a key role in the introduction of Swim Central. If you have any questions that aren’t answered in the online Swim Central Support Centre, please feel free to reach out to us via email at meetdirector@smne.org.au – we’re always happy to help our Clubs or members with their Swim Central enquiries.
Even if we don’t have the answer right away, we know exactly who to escalate to in order to get your issue resolved quickly and efficiently.
What is Results Central?
RESULTS CENTRAL is the official online results platform used by Swimming Australia to publish and store swimming competition results across Australia.
It’s where swimmers, parents, and coaches can:
- View race results and times from meets
- Check rankings and performance history
- Track progress over time
- Search for swimmers or specific events
Think of it as the results companion to Swim Central. While Swim Central is used for registrations and entries, Results Central is where all the official race outcomes and performance data are displayed after competitions. Note, if families have ticked “hide results in public portal” in Swim Central, those swimmer’s results will not be visible.
